Job Title: UX Researcher III Duration: +12 months with a scope of extension or conversionJob Type: W2About the Team:The WhatsApp Business Research team is searching for a qualitative UX researcher who is excited about connecting businesses and consumers on our platform. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and other researchers to identify user needs and problems and evaluate new product opportunities to create intuitive user experience.Job description:Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, product managers, data scientists & engineers to identify research questionsCollaboratively develop and execute on a research roadmapConduct all phases of qualitative research (planning, data collection, analysis, reporting)Communicate findings and implications to stakeholdersManage research vendors to help augment the work of the research teamSkills:Independently carrying projects from start to finish with minimal supervisionComfortable with ambiguity and new spacesAble to synthesize existing knowledgeCollaborate with cross-functional partners to generate and refine research questionsExperience designing and conducting user research, including generative and evaluative methodsExperience conducting remote researchAbility to translate research findings to actionable recommendationsAble to influence cross-functional partners to take a different path than intendedUnderstanding of user experience principles and the product development processStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong skills in creating visual deliverablesBasic qualifications:BA/BS in HCI or social science field (psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, or economics)At least 4 years experience conducting user research in an industry setting.Preferred qualifications:Experience working for fast-paced consumer-facing productsGraduate degree in HCI or social science field (psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, or economics)Experience in running international researchExperience in managing research vendors
