Job Title: Technical Project Manager IIDuration: +11 months with a scope of extension or conversionJob Type: W2Job Description: Technical Project Manager – Assistant Data FoundationsFacebook’s AR/VR division is developing future products in augmented reality and virtual reality with breakthrough work in conversational AI that will enable groundbreaking experiences for consumers and businesses.In this role with the Assistant team within AR/VR, you’ll plan, execute, and deliver the AR/VR enterprise goals of placing AR/VR solutions in the hands of consumers and businesses. You will need a blend of data pipeline expertise, program management and leadership skills to collaborate cross-functionally across software, hardware, data operations and vendor teams to ensure success.Job Responsibilities:-Ensure Product Data Operations (PDO) ownership of data collection process by driving requirements and execution of collections to produce high quality results across all surfaces and locales.-Ensure PDO ownership of data intake process by clearly communicating organizational priorities-Collaborate with PDO to drive quarterly Data Intake reviews and escalate any risks to ongoing projects as/when necessary-Track & communicate Assistant operations management across all components including improvements around budget efficiency.-Collaborate with teams on data collection logistics (procurement, shipping devices, etc)-Create, track & maintain SOW, RFP, invoices-Setup & maintain Assistant Data Foundations wiki/documentation-Drive sprint execution plan across Data Foundations planned OKRs-Hold individuals accountable for landing deliverables that ensure team OKRs are met across & proactively resolve/escalate risksPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of end2end data pipeline strongly preferred with 4+ years of project management experiencePrevious data collection, data operations, data labeling/annotation experience preferredPrior experience around Sprint planning & execution highly preferredLeadership skills such as leading meetings, conflict resolution, decision making and risk mitigation skills, precise verbal communication in a highly cross-org setup preferredPrior experience handling large scale ambiguous trackers, dashboards, SOW, RFP etcAbility to articulate well with written communication skills to create & maintain well defined wiki’sExperience multi-tasking working across orgs with multiple teams including vendors on multiple products concurrentlySoftware/Hardware integration experience in a consumer electronics environmentSkills:• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.• Basic knowledge of data pipeline – collection, grading, annotation, toolingEducation/Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Operations and/or Program management • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
