Job Tile: Technical Program Manager IV 57209-1Duration: 12 Months W2 (Possible Conversion)Location: Sunnyvale, Burlingame, or RedmondWe are specifically looking for a candidate with experience with consumer device product development and who can work across a team of hardware and software engineers and product managers to help the team deliver high quality Wearables products on time. .The right candidate will possess a strong technical program management, consumer product development experience background, and will have demonstrated experience leading complex initiatives across multiple product, software and hardware teams. The candidate we seek should have a strong background in managing consumer electronics projects to achieve system KPIs, preferably with experience in Power or Performance related domain, and a solid track record of working cross-functionally with multi-disciplinary teams. The candidate needs to be able to and drive large bodies of work independently through collaboration with other stakeholders such as System/Product architects, Software Technical Leads, Software and Hardware Managers and Validation domain experts.RESPONSIBILITIES:As the TPM in the System health team, you will be responsible for Power and Performance (PnP) areas for new devicesCrafting PnP plans to support the Wearables org strategy.Collaboratively planning a roadmap of PnP features rollout with cross-functional partners.Building detailed execution plans and holding yourself and the team accountable to deliverables.Reporting on technical program status in various forums to peers and product leadership.Planning around risks and developing mitigations appropriately.Supporting the wider org with data processing skills and deriving insights on status and gaps to move the business forward.Building strong relationships with other groups within engineering and/or across the company and leveraging these relationships as a force-multiplier to meet goals.Articulating the technology, requirements, goals, and milestones of your program.Driving multiple engineering programs and product initiatives.Working with engineering teams to define and revise the long-term strategy, roadmaps, and end-to-end plans for device system health programs.Minimum Qualifications6+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager managing software or consumer device programs from inception to productionExperience delivering technical programs or products from inception to deliveryB.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experienceCommunication and interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaborationwithin a cross-functional team.Knowledge of software development and product development processes and best practices.Experience in processing and analyzing large sets of data using a MS-Excel / G-Sheet. Scripting experience in SQL and Python programming is a Major plus.Experience leading cross-functional teams (software and hardware engineers, peer TPMs and product managers).Experience in managing multiple programs concurrently.Experience in communicating program status, risks and planned mitigations to technical experts and leadership.Preferred QualificationsExperience building systems and processes for observing and improving battery, power and thermals for a HW/SW systemExperience building systems and processes for observing and improving user-facing quality for a HW/SW system**RSD NOTES**Top 3 HARD Skills: * Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
