Job Title: Technical Program Manager IV 26094-1Duration: 12 monthsJob Type: W2Job Location: Fremont, CA or Reston, VAJob Description:We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a PM Support Specialist. The responsibilities of the PM Support Specialist include helping streamline the day-to-day activities within the Operational Continuity (OC) Program portfolio, developing guidance on internal PM policies and processes, overseeing project management staff, and collaborating with program Leads to streamline project and program execution. Oversees designated projects associated with internal program functions as well as operational support structure provided to Meta Data Centers. Plans and assists in developing internal program strategy. Coordinates, documents, and assigns tasks for the project team and provides the team with direction and support as related to improving program strategy and performance. Monitors problems, provides solutions, and implements changes as necessary to ensure seamless internal program functions. Regularly reports the progress to OC stakeholders. May report to a program management Lead. Strong leadership ability is required. May require overseeing project life-cycle end to end within the OC Program portfolio. Manage and communicate ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or program performance. To be successful as a PM Support Specialist, the candidate should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.PM Support Specialist Responsibilities:Program Management / Portfolio SupportLeads the development and improvement of internal program management functions for the IDC Operational Continuity ProgramLeads development of processes for Operational Continuity resource governance, which includes documentation & resource review framework, as well as continuous improvement / continuous monitoring mechanismsAssists with standardizing Operational Continuity internal program support structure and model, which includes Program Management Office functions, which may include change management, communications, and overall project executionAssists with developing the operational support structure for Meta Data Centers, to include site engagement model, internal program operational processes, training delivery and metrics alignmentCollaborates with Operational Continuity program leaders to define, prioritize, and standardize program maintenance, to include connections to program long term roadmappingHelps standardize project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverablesOversees the project lifecycle for existing programs and ensures team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding ISOS standardsDrafts new and improves upon existing internal program policies and processes? Top 3 must-have HARD skills: 1 Program / Project Management Office Experience; including developing programs, project and/or portfolio management2 Experience with program governance internal and external stakeholders3 Continuous Improvement experience (LEAN Six Sigma, etc.)? Good to have skills: 1 Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, Emergency Management Experience2 Knowledge / experience working within Big Tech, data center infrastructure, or.
