Job Title: Technical Program Manager III 29167-1Duration: 12 months with scope of extensionJob Type: W2Client: Leading Social Media GiantJob Location: Remote Team DescriptionThe Digital Asset Management Operations Team (DAM Ops) is a centralized internal service that supports the implementation and on-going maintenance of digital asset management (DAM) solutions for internal product teams. DAM Ops strives to develop the technology and operationalize how content is organized, accessed and controlled to optimize productivity and unlock the hidden value of our assets. The ultimate goal of the DAM Ops Teams is to enable each product team to operate its DAM profile independently and autonomously by leveraging established technology, best practices, and internal support to drive efficiency and productivity. About the Role As the program lead for Digital Asset Management Operations at Meta, you will be responsible for managing the stakeholder needs, vendor relationship, and strategic planning for Meta’s Digital Asset Management program. This role requires close cross functional collaboration with a variety of product teams, engineers, internal stakeholders and software vendors. You will work with a team of information specialists to ensure that tactical day-to-day work is executed and the program strategy is carried out effectively. You will support a cadre of digital asset managers and business partners who are responsible for their own DAM profile’s maintenance and effectiveness. You will plan for strategic initiatives to drive the DAM project forward and report on outcomes to leadership. You will prioritize the support pipeline for feature enhancements, configurations and defects. Required knowledge, skills and abilities:Digital Asset Management: Five+ years of practical experience working with digital asset management solutions as the subject-expert either building Information Management systems from the ground up or maintaining the DAM through configuration changes and strategic enhancement planning.Metadata & Taxonomy Development: Practical knowledge of building and maintaining taxonomies, metadata schemas and other knowledge structuring methodologiesProduct Management: Experience coordinating activities between multiple projects to support the strategic product direction–preferably with a SaSS product for product growth, development and success.Program Management: Ability to proactively track progress, health and outcomes and report out to relevant parties. Able to manage the activities of project manager, Configuration partners, development partners, and stakeholders, while reporting up and escalating issues to leadership.Ability to Influence: To build, grow and maintain important collaborations, and use those relationships to enable the best possible outcome for our stakeholdersDefining Business Requirements: Experience supporting end users in defining business requirements in a way that can easily be used and actioned by engineering and development teams Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Define objectives and key results, metrics and product roadmap for digital asset management product that manages highly customized business process for different business groups across MetaOversee project completion including weekly sprint activities to manage bugs and adjust configurations, and quarterly enhancement releases including timeline management, prioritization and User Acceptance Testing.Think strategically about how the DAM fits into business operations and supports operational effectiveness. Escalate issues and report on strategic goals to leadership.Manage vendor relationship, including vendor project managers, implementation/configuration specialist activities, and tracking development timelines and commitmentsProvide DAM subject expertise and advice to teams seeking support for their profile. Hold office hours and one-on-ones with profile admins to support their needsSupport teams in gathering and documenting requirements for DAM configuration and development changes, or direct them to professional services support to completeWork with end-users, IT and 3rd party support to troubleshoot, track and resolve system outages and other business-critical issuesWork with the Infrastructure team to execute existing projects and plan for new projectsCommunicate and document all issues and solutionsDeep commitment and willingness to build community to ensure system users have the tools and information necessary to operate their profiles independently and triage support issues EducationMaster’s of Library and Information Science or advanced technical degree with regard to Digital Asset Libraries preferred
