 Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst III 32558-1Duration: 12 Months (W2 Possible Conversion) Location: Fremont, CA (Open to Remote)  NPI Supply Chain AnalystThe Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for Clear to Build readiness, including material tracking and management. The Analyst will be required to analyze supplier provided data to report material shortages, identify escalation requirements, monitor build performance of suppliers, commodity capacity/risk mitigation, and support tooling integration. Focus is on data analytics, preferably with experience within the supply chain area. Scope may also include facilitation of purchase orders, hardware receiving, and driving continuous process improvements of our supplier’s material management. In this role, the candidate will partner closely with the NPI Material Managers, Commodity Sourcing Managers and Demand Planners. RESPONSIBILITIESReview and potentially optimize suppliers based on material readinessRoot cause for shortages, lead time trends, and other relevant factorsSupport the end-to-end Clear to Build management process and collaborate with NPI Materials Manager to identify risk, need for escalation, and track progress to resolutionSupport NPI scalability, understanding and aggregating data requirements to drive supply continuityAssess and drive broker buy purchasesDrive automation on an aggressive timelineDevelop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider organizationFacilitate NPI Purchase Order and hardware receiving processes, including, but not limited to: tracking/supporting part number creation, ECO release/changes, transfer of hardware within systems/tools and product BOM and costAnalyze supply chain tools and document processes observed to continuously drive improvement and standardization opportunitiesAlignment of NPI BOMs to maintain Meta’s approved vendor listSupport TCO analysis to ensure project cost are meeting or beating cost objectivesCommunicate forecast and verify fulfillment from a materials perspectivePropose solutions to eliminate shortages impacting build and ship schedulesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSVerbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related business field required1-2 years of supply chain/materials experienceAbility to analyze material Clear to Build reports, lead times and other technical dataKnowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasingCost analysis experience and knowledge of EMS/ODM/JDM/OEM business models, consignment & turnkey materials management, cost modeling, supply chain design, and reverse logistics a plusPrevious experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel (esp. pivoting tables, excel-based tooling), and reporting tools such as TableauMust Have Skills:Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, building simple excel-based report automation)Data aggregation and analytical skillsNPI (New Product Introduction) Supply chain / sourcing backgroundOrganizational skillsCost modelingNegotiation skills
