Sr. Software Engineer w/ ATAK and Android ExperienceRemote – Texas preferred We are seeking experienced mobile developers with an understanding of building and running Machine Learning frameworks on Android for voice processing. You will create and maintain core user interface software that  our customers use to pilot and interact with our platforms, particularly through voice-based interfaces. Ideally you can walk between traditional mobile development activities while also understanding how to optimize transformer architectures on Android. You will own architecture and user interfaces that infer a pilot’s intent in under 250 milliseconds and turn them into actionable commands.Candidates with ATAK experience are desired. We know this is a niche, but that will greatly help successful implementation into our products.If you want to ensure the “right” system is developed for next-level sUAS autonomy, come help us build a vision of making robots safe, easy, and affordable while performing real tasks for their human counterparts.You bring:7+ years of experienceStrong Android development experience with both Java and Kotlin5+ years of experience with ATAKExample projects you can point to demonstrate Android development and performance ML execution on edge devicesExcellent build tool skills and understanding of modern, robust software developmentBS in Computer Science, or a related technical fieldBonus Qualifications:Python experience for standing-up training pipelinesC/C++ experience to aid in performance on mobileExpertise in Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech, or Speaker RecognitionExpertise in Mobile Machine VisionExperience with drone systems and flight control, particularly on small uncrewed aerial systemsAn active security clearance (this is not a requirement for the position)MS in Computer Science, or a related technical fieldProcess:Phone Screen (30 minutes) – Get to know more about the company and tell us about your experience.Takehome / Project Review at your own pace.
