Sr. Product ManagerLocation: Open to remote candidates open to occasional traveling. General Summary:As the Sr. Product Manager for the Asio Security Experience, you will play an important role in the success of expanding our security use-cases across the ConnectWise product and services portfolio. You will be involved in the security ecosystem and vendor partnerships, driving our open ecosystem with 3rd party security partners and improve the overall platform experience for MSPs and their customers.You will own how security products integrate with our ConnectWise product platform and how the various components can be utilized for faster and more integrated MSP experiences. You will handle the overall vision, roadmap, and product features we deliver for our diverse set of global technology service providers. You will need to be able to influence (without authority, in some cases) other product team roadmaps and prioritize security product efforts in their backlogs. Using your technical expertise and deep experience in delivering features using agile methodologies, you will have to balance priorities to deliver on measurable outcomes.The role requires collaboration and communication with senior leaders and executives while defining detailed functional requirements, delivering within an agile delivery framework, and measurement by key performance indicators. This position requires you to be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, balance various tasks simultaneously while contributing to a positive work culture collaborating with multiple development teams. In addition, phenomenal verbal communication and written documentation skills are critical for this role.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Define the product vision and use-cases for the Asio security experience that includes the 3rd party ecosystem experience and the roadmap to achieve that visionManage strategic 3rd party vendor relationships from a product perspective, aligning strategies, use-cases, and go to market to the rest of ConnectWise’s portfolioRepresent the team as the main interface for collaboration with internal development teams and business partners and effectively engage with them to ensure delivery is aligned with business needsPartner with other product managers, development managers and technical leads across the organization to align strategies, roadmaps, backlogs, and release priorities, to mitigate risks and issuesProduce feature requirement artifacts, such as data flows, process flows, decision trees, state diagrams, and system context diagrams to support the delivery teamProduce and lead go-live release communications that educate users and/or impacted teams of the outcomes delivered via the new features and/or changesCultivate a positive team environment where there is a sense of purpose, ideas are heard, and decisions are clearKnowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Familiarity with common development and UX frameworks and general API’s (Open API, REST and Declarative API frameworks)Familiarity with platform level development for internal and external integrationsConsistent record of partnering with internal constituents to define strategies, roadmaps, dependencies, and releasesEducational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:BS in an Engineering field or equivalent3+ years of technical product management experience with ability to guide and influence engineersExperience in one or more of the following areas: cloud infrastructure, SaaS, big data, security and privacy, development and operations, or artificial intelligence/machine learningExperience managing day-to-day technical and design directionExperience operating with a geographically dispersed workforceA background in cyber security with an understanding across different product categories and the use-cases these products cover for an organization: from firewall and intrusion detection to EDR, MDR, SIEM, SOAR, and XDR. Including emerging technologies like SASE, private access, ZTA, and IAMWorking Conditions:Remote position – based on US Eastern timeProfessional office environmentSome travel may be required
