Job Description: The Indirect Procurement Sustainability Program Manager will lead S2P’s sustainability efforts in greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction efforts and in alignment with Facebook’s broader climate change initiatives. The role will be responsible for collaborating across a broad spectrum of teams and partners, both internal and external, to effectively achieve our sustainability goals. In addition, this role will act as S2P’s main conduit to Facebook’s Global Sustainability team to measure and ensure strategic alignment and performance ongoing.Responsibilities include:• Build and manage S2P’s sustainability program framework and tools to enable prioritization, project selection and implementation• Maintain understanding of Indirect Procurement sustainability industry trends to drive strategic planning• Partner across S2P, with sustainability leadership, key stakeholders and suppliers to realize near-term goals and identify ongoing sustainability opportunities• Develop analysis and recommend inputs to systems, processes, tools and metrics regarding S2P sustainability policies, goals & objectives• Drive and measure S2P sustainability progress to achieve stated Scope 3 emissions goals• Drive financial evaluation of emerging opportunities and risks. Support evaluation of sustainability reduction technology and partnershipsMinimum Qualification B.A. or B.S. degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or equivalent experience 12+ years of experience managing procurement operations or equivalentPreferred Qualification Graduate degree in business, finance or related field5+ years of experience in corporate sustainability or related field with experience building climate-related financial models and risks assessmentsRelevant procurement lifecycle experience, including work in roles such as Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management or Purchasing Ability to flourish and influence others in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity Deep knowledge of carbon reduction strategies, technology and evaluation techniques Proficiency and previous experience in large scale deployment of new systems and processes to solves organizational challenges in sustainable operations Proven change management and influencing skills Experience delivering projects aligned with large scale corporate goals through persuasion and collaboration Flexible, entrepreneurial spirit with experience influencing across an organization with indirect authority
