Job Title: Project Manager II Work Location: US – IL- Chicago, Austin, San Francisco, MPK Duration: 6 months – W2 Contract Job Description: Job Responsibilities: Project Manager II – Recruiting, HR and/or OperationsSupport the Business Process Strategic Program Manager(s) by way of standard implementation/project methodology (e.g. mobilize, plan, prepare, design, build, transition, stabilization and close)Conduct process discovery workshops, where necessary, to support larger global operations initiative to understand current state processes, variance and driversMaintain project risks, issues, actions and mitigation defined by the Program Manager as appropriateOwn project reporting and cadence to ensure all cross-functional stakeholders are informed throughout the research lifecycleDraft & administer communications needed for securing and informing Process SMEs for research purposesManage mobilization of process discovery research including project plan, reporting and discovery capture documentationEvaluate current recruiting processes and discovery output which assists a Program Manager in developing an automated and scalable global recruiting strategyInvestigate and synthesize ways to improve existing processes and fix pain points through automation, streamlining and/or shared service model(s) in partnership with the Program ManagerBuild initial drafts of recruiting workflows and processesArticulate clear problem statements, root causes, risks & process implications related to current state in a workshop type settingAdvise cross-functional partners on process challenges across the recruiting organization to help drive future process, policy & product enhancementsCollaborate with applicable XFN partners, such as UX Research & Analytics, to overlay research outputs to ensure findings are all-inclusiveMinimum Qualifications:2-4 years of project or program management and/or consulting experience with focus on Recruiting, HR and/or OperationsExperience creating and managing project governance (project plans, documenting meeting notes, project risk/issue identification and mitigation)Experience supporting process improvement projects with proven record of increasing operational efficiencyExperience working with recruiting tools and systemsExperience inputting process change impact analyses to help drive subsequent training and communication strategiesExperience working with cross-functional partners throughout a project or implementation lifecycleExperience working autonomously with proper time management and multi-tasking experience across concurrent priority projectsExperience working across various levels of the organization while building trust and fostering collaborationExperience using MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio or other process mapping software)Experience presenting organizational and process flow content to broader audiencesPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in tech-industry or start-up environmentsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsPrevious experience supporting a Project Management or Ops functionExperience working in a fast-paced environmentTop 3 must-have HARD skills2-4 years of project or program management and/or consulting experience with focus on Recruiting, HR and/or OperationsNeed to be comfortable with public speaking- effective communication on the spot. May be asked to clarify in ops meeting on the startDig deeper- consultative mindsetAttention to detail and ability to put formal presentations together Good to have skills:PMP Recruiting background would help understand the processTechnical experience- HR related
