Job Title: Project Coordinator III Type: W2 ContractReq: 29201Duration: 6 Months with possible extensionClient: Social Media LeaderLocation: San Francisco*Must be authorized to work in United States*Testing CoordinatorWe’re looking for someone who is detailed, organized, and can handle Facebook’s fast-paced environment. Familiarity with QA and/or software development is a bonus.You will work in setting up and running testing programs which enable product teams to easily gather insights from international markets. You will be an internal advocate for people worldwide ensuring Facebook feels local for people around the world. It involves working with a wide range of teams and vendors around the world to drive the development of products and features that work well in diverse environments and are locally relevant. The ideal candidate is able to facilitate our teams’ best work by managing short- and long-term projects and initiatives, anticipating project issues and resolving them, connecting resources to research needs, and removing barriers to doing great work. As a Testing Coordinator, you will be an expert in problem-solving and multitasking, while building long-term relationships with partner teams. This role requires project management experience, excellent communication skills, ability to manage complex logistics, and a highly organized approach.Find efficient workflows that deliver a locally relevant user experience without slowing down the engineering process.Ensure that language and local market requirements are understood and supported from a technical perspective.Create a communications strategy for keeping stakeholders better informed, synthesizing and sharing test findings to elevate awareness of research across the organization.Manage usability and functionality tests end to end in coordination with product teams and testing vendors.Track and move testing initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders and many moving parts.Communicate issues related to staying on schedule and propose solutions to remedy the issue.Skills2+ years of experience as a project manager, program manager, or similar role, with a background establishing systems, supporting teams, and developing relationships.Track record of operating independently, being detail-oriented, and delivering results.Experience in a fast-paced environment that requires time management, task prioritization skills, ability to identify problems and work towards solutions.Ability to process and analyze data sets, and interpret them to make business decisions.Preferred QualificationBA/BS in engineering, computer science, psychology/sociology, related field or equivalent experience.Knowledge of additional languages (other than English).Experience working with QA, UX research, design, engineering, or cross-functional teams.Hands-on experience with i18n concepts and practices.
