We are searching for a highly-driven Strategic Initiatives & Innovation Global Lead to analyze, scope, and execute on high-priority initiatives aligned with company priorities, working closely with key XFN and globally across regions.This person will focus on strategic initiatives that ladder to company wide goals related to communities, specifically working to unlock communities as a source of unconnected content in app. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community, and a strong leadership and individual track record of high impact strategic work.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide direction, coordination, and leadership in the identification, planning, development, and implementation of the strategic initiatives; leading the team to deliver against the overall milestones and goalsGather, track and analyze data to understand trends that can impact communities and bring new opportunities to the teamBuild the global strategy in partnership with our regional teams and cross functional teams, ensuring diversity and inclusion within all initiativesDrive relevant meetings (i.e., weekly team meetings with all workstream leaders), provide global updates to the team and keep them accountable towards the execution timeline.Present executive, team-level and data-driven communications to keep relevant stakeholders engaged and up-to-date on initiatives and key milestones.Directly manage the relationship with various internal and external stakeholders, including leaders in the Community Partnerships team and broader cross-functional teams, to deliver on the overall milestones and goals.Envision, tackle and provide creative solutions for complex and ambiguous problems with a strategic, innovative and entrepreneurial mindset that looks at our team’s opportunities in the context of the company’s platforms and big bets.Manage multiple complex project deliverables for multiple internal and external stakeholdersWork with external partners, thought leaders and industry experts to help support and sustain the initiatives and their impact on communitiesManage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity; identify funding opportunitiesDevelop tracking mechanisms and protocols for impact measurement, evaluation and improvement. Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics to develop and execute against the team’s goals.SkillsStrong program management skills to manage multiple complex initiatives successfully while working to build bridges and capacity across the teamStrategic thinking and planning skills that translate into innovative solutions that drive impactAbility to gather, track and analyze data to understand trends that can impact communities and bring new opportunities to the teamAbility to establish and develop relationships with critical stakeholders, building coalitions to tackle the largest and most important challenges the company facesEffective communication skills and ability to understand and connect with company priorities and product team goals while aligning with our mission and North StarMinimum Qualifications:8+ years of relevant work experience with programs, partnerships and communitiesProven track record of organizational, creative, and strategic-thought leadershipExperience with program management and analytics, being able to gather, manage, track and analyze dataUnderstanding of the Meta family of apps and how Meta’s products and services could be leveraged to build communityLeadership building a culture of accountability and a commitment to achieving resultsExperience defining, developing and leading large programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentProven collaboration and relationship-building skills — with experience developing working relationships at all levels of management
