Summary: The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, and/or coordinate business operations activities within the broader Infra Data Center organization. Focus will be on stakeholder alignment, data gathering & analysis, leadership communications, information management, and documentation support. Understanding of data center infrastructure, network, storage & server hardware, hardware maintenance & field support services not required but a plusJob Responsibilities:Define, roll-out, execute and sustain repeatable business process for programs at Facebook Data Centers and relevant Infrastructure teams globallyDevelop internal communication to support business initiatives and ensure effective execution & adoption of related process and proceduresAlign stakeholders & resources to deliver in areas that will deliver the greatest impact (i.e. ensuring equitable distribution of resources and creating a sustainable reporting methodology)Define ways to improve process efficiency and effectivenessElicit detailed business requirements by engaging the business to capture clear functional details to architect an improved business processRun regular syncs at various levels of the organization (core team, leadership etc.) to maintain proactive stance/awareness about issues across our cross-functional partnershipsDemonstrate & deliver Maintain Project Management best practices to include thorough documentation, capture lessons learned, and effective knowledge managementResourceful and action-oriented with the ability to get things done and overcome obstacles independently. Be comfortable with ambiguity.Ability to quickly adapt, learn new technologies & business domains, and be able to create a solid understanding of operational challengesFoster a culture of collaboration and decision making based on dataGreat soft skills are a must in order to be successful in fostering working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
