Job Title: Program Manager IV 26321-1Duration: 12 monthsJob Type: W2Job Location: Fremont, CA, Baltimore, MD, Boston, MA, Houston, TX, Los Angeles, CA, and San Diego, CAJob Description:Meta’s Edge & Network Service (ENS) team is seeking a skilled and motivated operator with a background in security operations to help execute on projects for a newly established program in a fast-paced environment. Our ENS-Security (ENS-Sec) program supports Meta’s mission to connect the world, helping protect employee and company sensitive data by securing the critical infrastructure and data flowing across enterprise & content distribution networks. In particular, ENS-Sec is charged with developing a comprehensive framework for security management and governance that is focused on managing risks, right-sizing security policies and processes, and increasing ENS ownership for all sites that comprise the Edge.ENS-Sec is responsible for driving security at different types of ecosystems beyond data centers, including: self build infrastructure; optical/routing; subsea; Edge points-of-presence (PoP), and; managed points-of-presence (mPoP). We directly support our Operations team as the primary business owner through the site lifecycle, helping to ensure secure operations from site “go live” until decommissioning. We achieve progress through partnerships, so this role will be expected to work closely and effectively with a variety of cross functional teams (XFNs), managed service providers (MSPs), and third-party vendor partners.Responsibilities (as directed by ENS-Sec Security Operations Manager):Tactically support the management & resolution of time-sensitive security Tasks and facilitate responses to major incidents/site events (SEVs) on edge, caching, and network infrastructureTactically support effort to identify, collect, and collate security-related information in a centralized program repository in way that best aligns with organization stakeholders and XFNsCollaborate with the XFN teams to support physical security assessments, as well as track and manage resolution of fallouts in ways that mitigate future recurrenceAssist in the review, tracking, and response to security events within subsea environments, as well as compliance to requirementsTactically support the process enhancements as part of the data eradication initiativesAssist in the routine capture of program activity, issues, and accomplishments to help ensure regular comms updates are shared with stakeholders and audiences internallyTactically support Edge security on both process and technical implementation issuesTactically support the integration of program risk management functions with aligned XFNsParticipate in on-call rotation with the global team to help ensure inbound alerts are triaged/actioned with low latencyWork closely and effectively with a variety of cross functional teams (XFNs), managed service providers (MSPs), and third-party vendor partners in accordance with established security- related policies & procedures, tools, and practicesAssist in business readiness activities including training, testing, and rollout of program security solutions via service providers and vendorsLeverage proficiency in data analysis and visualization to help develop program dashboardsInternational and Domestic travel (including emerging markets) may be required up to 25%Minimum Qualifications? Top 3 must-have HARD skills: 1 Familiarity in physical security discipline management, and/or incident response2 Project management proficiency, delivering multiple high-impact projects, effective organizer and communicator, focused on executing tactically against set strategic objectives3 Collaborator who can build and optimize cross-functional relationships with project partners and stakeholders? Good to have skills: 1 Fluency/expertise in mix of policy, operational and technical security experience2 Experience partnering with network engineers w/r/t varied technical environments (e.g., colocation, edge, ILAs, or data centers)3 Understanding of tooling and automation support for security operations across network environmentsMinimum Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in security-related field or equivalent experience• 3+ years of progressively professional experience in a physical security policy, crisis management, or incident response role• Experience establishing and maintaining cross-functional relationships that help teams, stakeholders, and partners define and subsequently realize goals• Experience demonstrating clear and effective communication, organization, and proficiency working on and delivering multiple high-impact projectsPreferred Qualifications• 5+ years of experience in physical and logical security-related disciplines with mix of both technical and operational experience• 2+ years of project management experience• Experience in partnering with infrastructure engineers within varied environments (e.g., colocation, edge, ILAs, or data centers)• Resourceful, action-orientated with the ability to get things done and overcome obstacles and develop creative solutions to problems• Experience working within a diverse global team across time zones and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with limited supervision• Understanding of tooling and automation support for security operations across network environments
