Job Title: Program Manager IV 17726-1Duration: +9 months with a scope of extension or conversionJob Type: W2Job Location: Menlo Park, CAJob Description: We are seeking a CW Design Program Manager to support operational programs across three core areas: People, Process and Product. This CW DPM will partner with and report to a Content Design Director.Design Program Managers at Facebook are passionate connectors and problem solvers. By supporting the various aspects of the product teams, you will enable teams to focus their time on designing, building and shipping products. You will improve team communication, collaboration, and remove roadblocks. Finally, you’ll utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills to help keep our teams on track, execute specific design initiatives intended to grow team culture, industry expertise, and team impact.We’re looking for a design program manager to support our growing team of 150+ content designers, helping coordinate efforts across regions (North America, London, and Singapore). The DPM will support operational projects, build team cohesion and community, and strategize to create processes that improve team impact and performance.We’re Looking for Someone Who:Has experience navigating ambiguous programs and standing up new processes/programsWorks well autonomouslyWorks effectively with XFN partnersIs a strong communicator and can achieve the right balance of sharing pertinent updates in a timely manner and bringing stakeholders along for visibilityCore Responsibilities:Helping the content design team function more effectively by streamlining organizational processes and operations that may include:Establishing agenda and facilitating staff and leadership meetingsPartnering with the operations team to plan and produce all hands eventsCollaborating with business partners and leadership to field answers to operational questions (such as tracking new new employee start dates to coordinate onboarding support,Coordinating the scheduling and facilitation of content reviewsSupport the management team with effective team communication, proactive problem solving, information distributionDrive lightweight, repeatable processes, standards, workflows and tools that keep the team connected and successful in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quicklyAccelerate the leadership team by offloading administrative and operational duties where necessaryMinimum Qualifications:Experience working with product and/or business teamsExperience working directly with content designers, product designers or UX researchersExperience as a digital producer, project manager or program managerTrack record of influencing, defining and scaling product or business strategy in a fast-paced environment
