This includes Oculus and Portal products, AR and VR software and hardware, and research and development labs. The Strategic Operations Program Manager will support strategic projects, planning, and operations for Reality Labs Legal.The ideal candidate has experience in organizational strategy, strategic and operational planning, executive-level communication, and stakeholder management. They are a data-driven self-starter and problem solver who thrives in and enjoys a fast-paced, cross-functional, and impact-oriented environment. This individual values diverse perspectives is not hesitant to share their own and enjoys both engaging in strategic discussions and operationalizing ideas and plans.Responsibilities:Lead projects to optimize organizational health, scale the organization and build team culture including identifying opportunities for teams to work more closely together by aligning goals, processes, knowledge sharing, and career growth.Oversee day-to-day operational needs, which may include advising on strategies and execution, team cohesion efforts, maintaining the rhythm of the business calendar, facilitating meetings, etc.Establish action plans and timelines consistent with team mission, organizational goals, and objectives: monitor and hold teams accountable through influence and indirect lines of reporting.Lead and improve overall planning processes, including headcount, new hire onboarding, and budget allocation.Foster relationships and partner with cross-functional partners to understand their needs and ideas on how to better collaborate to coordinate programs, operations, and initiatives.Drive operational excellence into the organization through the identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or improve processes.Motivate and adapt to different working styles based on teams involvedOngoing operational maintenance and support for legal sponsored programsManage communication within and between teams and their leaders.Implement lightweight solutions for tracking and communicating project statusSwitch from program level to task level issues in driving projects to completionManage competing priorities and simultaneous projects of high complexity in a fast-paced environment.Minimum Qualifications:B. A. or B. S. degree or equivalent project/program management, strategy, operations, or management consulting experience.4+ years of experience in project and organizational support, business or strategic operations management, or program management in the tech industry; 6+ years of professional experience.Experience with organizational planning and business operations.Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects with varying deadlinesStrong communication and coordination skills.Strong track record of effectively influencing cross-functional teams and projects.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with emerging technologies and devicesKnowledge of AR/VR productsExperience with Google Suite, and accustomed to learning new technologies and toolsTop 3 Hard Skills:Strong executive-facing communication or passion to develop.Executes work well and strong follow through with projects.Strong communication and collaboration.Top 3 Nice to Have Skills:Creating metrics to measure process efficiencyAR/VR knowledge.
