Job Title: Program Manager III 30239-1Duration: 6 Months (W2 Possible Conversion) Location: Menlo Park, CA Our Risk and Payments team’s purpose is to serve our global community by providing customer support for payment issues and protecting individuals and businesses against payment abuse. We seek to lead the payments industry in trust, integrity, and support. To help us achieve this mission, we are hiring a Program Manager in our Launch Management team. In this role, you’ll be primarily responsible for project managing new product initiatives within our eCommerce product portfolio.The Launch Management team makes sure that our Risk and Payment Operations organization is ready to support new payment products developed at Facebook. This requires coordinating and driving requirements across our internal stakeholder teams in Risk and Payments, as well as influencing product teams to incorporate fraud management and customer support best practices. We partner with multiple teams including Product, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, Legal, Policy, and Finance to ensure new products successfully launch and succeed.Responsibilities:Manage a series of projects simultaneously with varying complexity and timelinesCollaborate with our Risk and Payment Operations core teams in determining requirements and resources needed that allow new products and features to scaleDevelop project schedules based on the product requirements, technical challenges or constraints, tooling lead-times and operational needsWork with project team members to set milestones, communicate project statuses, and identify/address potential setbacksInfluence and lead efforts on behalf of Risk and Payment Operations with key cross-functional partners, including Product, Engineering, Design, Compliance, Legal, Policy and others during design, build, launch, and expansion phases of the product life cycleDefine and implement core key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring playbook to ensure the expected benefits are delivered and to track any unexpected issues after the project is executedClose project and ensure appropriate handoff to operational ownersConduct post mortems to assess elements of the project that were successful or unsuccessful to inform future improvements and reduced risksMaintain full visibility with leadership and other critical stakeholders throughout project; holding launch readiness reviews as appropriateEnsure project documents are complete, current and available for project team members, leadership and stakeholder reviewWork with project leaders to develop best practices and production processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environmentEstablish and grow solid cross-functional relationships with Product, Engineering, Policy, Legal, Compliance and Operations to enable a high rate of successDevelop a strong working knowledge in core risk and support infrastructure, tools, systemsBe familiar with organizational direction and priorities which may impact the products you supportMinimum Qualifications4+ years experience in project/program management, business strategy, business operations, or consultingEnd-to-end understanding of payment processing flows/rails, roles of parties involved and types of payment methodsTime management and organizational skills, especially in an ambiguous and fast-paced environmentExperience driving collaboration of cross-functional teams, inspiring others, and coordinating effectivelyExperience resolving conflicts by finding the win-win scenarios, identifying tradeoffs, and setting clear prioritiesExperience controlling risk and prioritiesExperience weighing the pros and cons of solutions to problems before choosing the right way forwardExperience communicating effectively and often via various media and to different audiencesPreferred QualificationsExperience working across global regionsExperience & expertise working with payments, including payment processing, payments risk/fraud operations, customer supportExperience resolving and communicating about issues with both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience influencing across functional organizations and/or teams with varying priorities or business goalsMust Have Skills: Experience working across global regionsG-Suite Experience Experience & expertise working with payments, including payment processing, payments risk/fraud operations, customer supportExperience resolving and communicating about issues with both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience influencing across functional organizations and/or teams with varying priorities or business goals
