Job Title: Project/Program Management – Program Manager IIIReq: 26530-1Type: W2 Contract with possible extension or conversionDuration: 12 MonthsLocation: Menlo Park, CA*Must be authorized to work in the US* Job Description:This role will involve program management and project delivery of multiple data transparency reports on our external Transparency Center and regulatory transparency reports, requiring an excellent ability to plan, direct, and coordinate activities across multiple technical and non-technical functions. This person should be able to work closely on tactics with data professionals, as well as on strategy with policy, comms, and legal cross-functional partners.We publish regular reports to give our community visibility into how we enforce our policies, respond to data requests and protect intellectual property, while monitoring dynamics that limit access to Meta technologies.Surrounding team & key projects:• This role will sit in the Ecosystems team within the Central Integrity product org. The CI org is responsible for building the products that are responsible for organic content moderation and governance on both Facebook and Instagram.• This team is focused on “Accountability”, with the mission to enable Meta to honor its Integrity commitments. This involves building internal accountability mechanisms, as well as external accountability programs – such as transparency reporting.What makes this role interesting?• This high-visibility role will work at the intersection of multiple cross-functional teams across the company to coordinate and deliver multiple, public-facing transparency reports that represent our work externally on how we interact with governments, respond to legal requests, and more — all in the service of enabling external accountability with the public for our products and decisions as a company. This role will also support the delivery of several regulatory transparency reports, which will provide exposure to the emerging industry landscape of content regulation.Top 3 must-have HARD skills:1. Excellent core project management skillset, like building project plans, managing stakeholders, and driving issue resolution.2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to drive progress at tactical and strategic levels.3. Strong experience in influencing and driving progress across multiple technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.Good to have skills:1. Experience working in a large, global tech company or other fast-paced environments.2. Experience evaluating data to understand trends and support decision making.3. Experience creating messaging and content for external audiences.Years of experience requiredo 3+ yearsKey performance measurementso Successful, independent delivery and publication of assigned transparency reports.o Ongoing RCA and targeted process improvement between cycles.Degrees or certifications requiredo BA/BS minimum.o PMI or PMP certification preferred.o Working knowledge of data tools and/or SQL preferred.
