Job Title: Program Manager II 36518-1Duration: 6 Months (W2 Possible Conversion) Location: Menlo Park, CA (Remote PST)Also Open to Seattle, WA and Redmond, WAThe main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-out, etc. or any other non-IT based project. Job Responsibility: Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence. Lead planning efforts for audits spanning multiple product areas and organizations Facilitate program cadence such as weekly cadence including delivery of week ahead schedule, hosting Daily standups, Agenda for weekly meeting, hosting Weekly meeting including delivery of notes and end of week Status. Support all communications across four Workplace Groups for the assigned program Create overall schedule and breakdown tasks into consumable deliverables Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to validate organization structure of the program and assign responsibilities Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. Strong knowledge of Google docs and associated tools. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. PMI or PMP certification preferred.
