A typical network engineer is responsible for planning and implementing network upgrades.Job Responsibilities:• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades.• Scheduling and implementing network maintenance• Develop and implement solutions for network problems.• Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas.• Assist in development and/or improving internal tooling and automation.• Work in collaboration with the network engineering teamsSkills:• 5 to 7 years of experience• Network experience (CCNP level)• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.• Ownership and communication skills to drive problem investigation.• Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.• Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software.• Wireless (Wifi) experience as it relates to deploying, configuring and troubleshooting APs• Project management skills• PHP, React, Java programmingEducation/Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field required.
