GENERAL SUMMARY: The Brand Loyalty Marketing team drives retention loyalty strategies within the Retail brand that they are dedicated to. They oversee the development and execution of marketing initiatives that must be integrated into each brand’s commercial planning calendar and support the brand’s overall marketing objectives. The ideal candidate for this team must have strong communication and influencing skills, as well as the ability to drive and project manage strategic initiatives across multiple cross-functional teams.The (Sr.) Manager contractor role is here to support the loyalty marketing team as it launches the new Integrated Loyalty Program.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Support Brand Loyalty Marketing director in building out and managing ILP marketing strategy and project plansRepresents loyalty in meetings and cross-functional alignments, partnering with key brand teams to ensure cohesive strategy and execution for loyalty integration across channelsCreates testing strategies and project roadmap for omnichannel and channel-specific marketing initiatives with clear objectives for measurement and brand impact to maximize response and drive sales; share out recap and recommendations post-launchRegularly leverages customer data and analytics to refine future retention strategiesManage marketing projects from start to end, including: creative and data brief development, legal review, proofing and QAROLE REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:7+ years of relevant work experience in omni channel marketing, loyalty, ecommerce or related field focused on identifying opportunities to ideate and drive strategic initiatives to develop, launch, and analyze multi-channel marketing programsStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to glean insights, visualize data, tell a story, and influence strategic direction across the businessExperience using logic and methods to solve difficult problems and derive effective solutions.Ability to manage multiple detail-oriented projects and to meet deadlinesProven skill in leading and influencing across multiple and distinct functional organizations (e.g., IT, International, Brands, Creative, Marketing) to drive business objectives and prioritiesProven strategic thinker; able to leverage large sets of data to drive insights and make decisions – knowledge of Excel, Omniture and MicroStrategy are a plusProficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs – advanced skills desiredPast credit card, retail, or agency experience preferred but not requiredBachelor’s Degree; MBA a plusCHARACTERISTICS:Customer-centric mindsetOrganized, self-starter, strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively and build strong relationships with business partnersPositive attitude and ability to manage change, thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and brings structure to ambiguous situationsProactive with strong project management and program management skills; able to multi-task and work autonomously or as a teamResults-oriented, timeliness, attention to detail, with a willingness to shift plans as necessary to meet goalsAbility to obtain alignment, prioritize, and drive initiatives based on cross-functional dependenciesInnate curiosity to challenge and champion new initiatives to avoid repeating subpar marketing strategies
