The Immersive Media team works both internal and external production studios who are paving the way for the future of media. The role will include liaising with agency/agencies to coordinate the building of a content hub, organizing and publishing existing documentation, coordinating with and commissioning content from multiple documentation sources, and managing technical writers, video editor(s), and copy editor(s).Documentation Manager ResponsibilitiesManage a small documentation production teamWork closely with the FRL Media team on documentation / creator initiativesManage expectations of all stakeholders: define clear schedules with key deliverables and milestone dates, identify and communicate risks and adjustments to the overall documentation deliverablesDevelop and implement key performance indicators to track progress to key metrics and goalsHire and develop new documentation team membersMinimum Qualifications5+ years experience in technical documentation, and/or outreach for a creator audience (individuals to high-end studios)3+ years of experience managing a team3+ years of experience independently driving technical documentation projectsExperience organizing content in a logical flowDemonstrated experience in comprehensive technical documentation, proofreading, and editingExperience partnering with leadership to establish priorities, strategy, and communicate regular updates on documentation initiatives2+ years experience in or adjacent to immersive media productionPreferred QualificationsBS/BA degree in Film, Technical Communication or a related disciplineExperience in content production
