Job Title: Full Stack Engineer with Consumer Electronics ExperienceJob Description:We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in consumer electronics product development and delivery. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably 10 or more, and a proven track record of working independently with limited direction. This role requires a self-directed individual who can “figure stuff out and get stuff done” in a fast-paced, fluid environment.Key Responsibilities:Product Development: Lead the development and delivery of consumer electronics products, from conception to launch. Utilize your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies to create innovative and user-friendly solutions.Team Collaboration:Work effectively in small, dynamic teams to achieve shared objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing your knowledge and expertise to drive the success of the projects. Thought Partnership: Act as a thought partner and sounding board to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Provide valuable insights and suggestions, contributing to strategic decision-making processes. Problem Solving: Be a MacGyver of the engineering world, thinking outside the box to find efficient, effective, and elegant solutions, even with limited resources. Navigate the challenges of early-stage and early-market company dynamics with creativity and resourcefulness. Caregiving Experience (Preferred): ideally, the candidate has been or is currently involved in a caregiving situation for an older adult. This experience might provide a unique perspective and empathy, shaping innovative solutions that cater to the needs of caregivers and their loved ones. Qualifications: – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.- Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and related frameworks.- Extensive experience in consumer electronics product development and delivery.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions in challenging situations.- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in small, cross-functional teams.- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating a proactive and self-driven attitude.- Empathy and understanding of the needs of caregivers and older adults (preferred). Experience: – At least 5 years of experience in product development and delivery, preferably 10 or more.- Experience working in early-stage, early-market companies is highly desirable.
