Job Title: Electrical Engineer III [33986]Req: 33986Type: W2 ContractDuration: 12 Months with possible conversionClient: Social Media LeaderLocation: Sunnyvale CA*Must be authorized to work in the United States*  Responsibilities:Design, implement, debug, and characterize embedded systems with end-to-end electrical engineering product design ownership from concept to launch.Apply experience and knowledge of printed circuit board (PCB) technologies to design schematics, complete board layouts, assembly, test, debug, and integrate designs into electrical systems. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as industrial design, architecture, product design, testing, and supply chain.Work closely with a contract manufacturer (CM) and joint design manufacturer (JDM) resources to leverage their engineers and maximize the focus of Meta’s internal resources on adding value to and differentiating Meta’s products. Drive the resolution of technical issues by working with cross-functional teams such as electrical, mechanical, software, quality, and reliability, as well as the various CM and JDM teams.Perform lab measurements and factory tests to validate the design and resolve issues.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringElectronics Engineering, or related field, followed by five (5) years of experience.Experience must include 60 months of experience in the following:System-level integration of products using SoCs and micro-controllers, data, and video interfaces including USB, MIPI, HDMI/DisplayPort.Analog circuit design: Instrumentation amplifier, operational amplifier, analog filter design, ADC.Power architecture design, power consumption, and battery life optimization.Printed circuit board (PCB) technologies: rigid, flex, hybrid, and HDI.Schematic and PCB design experience using Cadence OrCAD/Allegro.Analyzing root cause, design debugging, and problem-solving with engineering test equipment • Factory board bring-up and design validation.Writing Python scripts and coding using C/C++ for testing.
