We need someone who is comfortable creating new tools and workflows as well as using and updating existing work done by others. Our ideal candidate is skilled in container and cloud technologies as well as in server administration, programming, and automation. This person loves making the lives of other engineers easier.Key Responsibilities:Work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company.Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelinesEducate teams on the implementation of new private cloud based initiatives, providing associated training as requiredCoordinate with an SRE team to gather requirements for new services and build them.Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production support systems. (i.e. supporting our own services is going to be part of the job)Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in design and implementation of Linux servers.3 years experience in OpenStack design, build and support the project preferred.Experience in Canonical OpenStack preferred.Expertise in Juju, Charm, and Prometheus.Experience with infrastructure, application monitoring, and alerting systems So, why apply?
