Job Title: Data Analyst III (19342-1)Type: W2 ContractDuration: 6 months with possibility to extendLocation: US – Sunnyvale, WAClient: Leading Social Media Company Master Data Management – Data Analyst (Audit)Responsibilities• Build and maintain a comprehensive data standards and definitions library.• Build and maintain a metadata store for MDM attributes, definitions and usages.• Run metrics to measure success and prepare regular summaries for governance steering reporting.• Build and maintain the audit program with data remediation plans where data fails to meet required standards.• Performing audits and data validation against master data definitions and standards.• Reinforce the development, acquisition, and publication of MDM data elements for data management, quality, usage, reporting, security, and governance.• Audit processes and maintenance activities of various MDM elements to ensure accurate data creation, transformation, and retention.• Drive continuous assessments for areas of improvement, opportunities for growth, and identification of gaps in MDM data.• Execute master data-related projects and initiatives.• Produce custom reports and data visualizations.• Perform ad-hoc data analysis.Skills• Strong written and communication skills.• Strong people and project management skills.• Proven ability to self-manage and drive toward high-quality results.• Ability to thrive in complex, ambiguous, and fast paced environments.• Understanding of MDM processes and design principles, along with the technologies required to support.• Operational familiarity in the use of metadata management, data quality, and data stewardship tools and platforms.• Ability to produce detailed, relevant documentation, and reports as required.• Experience with data visualization tools.Education and Experience• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or a quantitative field• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in MDM data governance• Bachelor’s degree required (BS/MS in supply chain, computer science, math/economics or engineering desired), Master’s in supply chain management a plus.
