Job Title: Construction Project Manager IVReq:20475-1Type: W2 Contract.Duration: 12 months with possible extension and conversion.Location: UT – Eagle Mountain Data Center*Must be authorized to work in US*Summary:Our Client is seeking an experienced contract Construction Manager to join our Data Center Engineering & Construction Team. Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates and upon which our innovative services are delivered. Building and operating data centers the “right” way is synonymous with ensuring high uptime, capacity availability and capital conservation. The data center engineering team thinks from chip to chiller (or electrical substation), determining configurations and ensuring maximum efficiency of our compute infrastructure, and the Infrastructure Construction Management team is committed to continual optimization of the delivery process at each level. The Construction Manager will have the campus level responsibility for project success, GC relationship, team development and relationship management with key cross functional partners at the site in a culture of collaboration, safety and quality unparalleled in the data center construction industry.Responsibilities:Report to Clients Geographical Construction Manager, accountable for project and campus success in: Safety, Quality, Schedule Milestones, Forecast Accuracy, GMP Accuracy.Assume accountability for ICM’s culture of partnership, teamwork and growth at the campus.Represent ICM in the Circle of Leadership at each campus and partner effectively to become a high performing team.Provide cost saving solutions and negotiate contractor change orders.Manage cross functional team for Owner Furnished Equipment procurement and delivery process.Provide weekly project status report (financial, schedule, Q/C)Manage Knowledge capture and transfer at the campus level.Manage General Contractor relationship at the campus level to include GC personnel development and succession.Manage warranty work program for existing data center buildings.Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent degree10+ years experience in construction and project planningData center development and construction experienceExperience with ground-up construction and greenfield site development requirements.Experience in construction management, capital budget management, and knowledge of electrical and mechanical systemsKnowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards including fire protection regulations.Negotiation experience and experience providing solutions to problems.Experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Preferred Qualifications:Procore software experience.
