Request ID: 4023-1Job Title: Business Operations – Exception Template (SEO Specialist)Work Location: US – CA – Menlo Park (105201)Duration: 12 Months – W2 ContractSEO Specialist to join the Digital & Media Team comprised of marketing strategists, planners, and developers.The SEO Specialist is responsible for helping to develop and execute a comprehensive organic search optimization strategy across our web surfaces. The SEO Specialist acts as a search optimization evangelist with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure consistent application of best practices and to strike an appropriate balance between SEO tactics and big-picture brand and editorial storytelling.Responsibilities:Supports SEO/content optimization across all channels in collaboration with marketing, creative and engineering teams. This includes writing metadata, reviewing copy, managing image optimization and testing web pages for SEOPerforms keyword research and analysis to support and inform new program activations, content development and marketing campaignsConducts audits and leads optimization of existing content to improve natural search rankingCollaborates with content/editorial team to ensure SEO alignmentPartners with digital analytics team to track and analyze traffic and user behavior on an ongoing basis to measure successMaintains up-to-date knowledge of SEO best practices; acts as an evangelist and trainer for internal stakeholders on SEO trends, tools and tacticsCandidate Requirements:Must Have Skills/Key Qualifiers:5 +years of experience in digital marketing and SEO, including experience managing organic search for high-traffic and high-domain authority sitesDeep understanding of organic search, SEO trends and best practices, as well as the main pitfalls and obstacles that can hinder SEO effortsExpertise in on-page, off-page and technical SEOExperience using enterprise SEO tools/platforms (BrightEdge, SEMrush, or similar)Understanding of digital marketing and content development; ability to strike a balance between SEO tactics and brand voice/editorial nuanceDedication to a high-level operational execution; track record of producing excellent resultsAffinity for data, analysis and measurementAbility to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, results oriented environment.
